Jeeva Ayurvastra Chakra Yoga Mat has been designed with Ayurvedic principles combining elements of ancient Indian wellness practice for support in Chakra Healing. The mat has been created using organic cotton and has been dyed with care using special natural dyes that have been extracted from natural plants.

The Chakra Yoga Mat has colors corresponding to the different chakras in order. Practicing yoga on a mat aligned with the chakras can help the practitioner become more aware of their energetic balance.

The seven colors used and their impact on their respective chakra is as follows :

○ Muladhara (Root Chakra): Red, grounding, Herb ~ Sappanwood
○ Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra): Orange, creativity and emotion, Herb ~ Annato
○ Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra): Yellow, power and confidence, Herb ~ Turmeric
○ Anahata (Heart Chakra): Green, love and compassion, Herb ~Turmeric with Indigo
○ Vishuddha (Throat Chakra): Blue, communication, Herb ~ Indigo
○ Ajna (Third Eye Chakra): Indigo, intuition and insight, Herb ~ Dark Indigo
○ Sahasrara (Crown Chakra): Violet, spiritual connection, Herb ~ Myrobalan with Siyahi

Grip : The natural latex coating on the base of the mat enhances its grip and supports you in practicing your asana’s with ease. This skid-free coating supports you in building your strength and alignment.

Yoga mat size : Width 27 inches, Length 76 inches, Thickness 5 mm.

Care Instructions : Jeeva Yoga Mats require a hand wash in a tub or in a basin once in a month if it is used daily.

Process :

• Fill a tub or a basin with cold water.
• Add one tablespoon of soap nut powder.
• Make lather.
• Wash with your hands.
• Rinse off with a hose after hanging it in a suitable place to remove any extra soap nut.
• Dry in shade.

Special care instructions :

• Use only cold water to wash.
• Wash with your hands only.
• Do not dry in sunlight as that has a bleaching effect on natural dyes.
• Do not wash with commercial detergents. Only use soap nut.
